Professional Hunter, Sportsman's Evangelist
Steve Rockey is a professional outdoorsman, hunting extensively in both the US and Canada. He is a Master Sportsman and pro-staffer for numerous companies. He is also an author whose articles have appeared in such publications as North American WHITETAIL, Big Buck Magazine, Whitetail Fanatic Magazine, New York Game & Fish, and Rub-lines. His expertise lies in the consistent harvesting of trophy whitetails and wise spring gobblers. He travels extensively giving seminars at sportsmen events. His years of experience and knowledge could make a difference in your next hunting season.
Steve is a Sportsman's Evangelist, having pastored growing, gospel preaching churches for 22 years. He has an Associates and Bachelors degree from Baptist Bible College and has seen God bring thousands to Christ through his traveling ministry. He is Founder and President of www.SportsmenMinistry.com, which is a ministry designed to assist local churches in reaching sportsmen through wild game dinners
Steve and his wife Mary were married in 1980 and now live in Maryland. They have four children whom they are very proud of and a little Yorkshire Terrier. Steve has been a minister for all of his life, allowing him to combine his love of the outdoors with his passion for helping sportsmen and their families. Steve sees many men bring focus to their lives by understanding the role God has in not just providing the forests and the wildlife for all mankind, but also the source of their salvation through the death and resurrection of Christ, God’s only Son. Rockey now gives hunting seminars all across the country as his full time job.
David Brooks is currently the Men’s Director for Calvary Assembly. He has been working in this position since 2012. As being the leader of the Stand UP Guys, David has worked with some of the best men in Frederick County. Since David has been the director, the Men’s Ministry has focused on equipping the men of the church spiritually in order to serve the Lord. During the winter months, we feed and clothe the homeless in Frederick that stay in tents and in the woods. Calvary Assembly launched Sober Christmas Project that provides Christmas gifts to citizens that are living in halfway houses and treatment centers.
David is a Clinical Supervisor for Frederick County Health Department in the Behavioral Health Services. He has a Bachelor in Public Relations Communication and a Masters in Clinical and Educational Counseling. After graduating with his Masters, he has educated and counseled in the public and private school systems. David has worked with client’s diagnosed both with mental and/or substance abuse issues.
David Brooks, born and raised in the Houston, TX area, moved to Frederick in 2007 after marrying Adriane Brooks. David and Adriane has four children: Anthony, 8, Angelo, 6, Alessio, 5, and Adino,3. Adriane is a stay at home mother that is the true back bone of our home even while being in remission from stage three breast cancer.
Pastor Paul Black
Paul K Black is currently Sr Pastor of "Cornerstone Fellowship" in Frederick Md. He and his wife of 36 years, Cheryl founded Cornerstone and this January marks the beginning of 23rd year of ministry at Cornerstone. Prior to Cornerstone, He was associate Pastor for 5 years at Fredericktowne Baptist church and Youth Pastor at Stoney Creek Alliance for 5 years in Stoney Creek, Ontario Canada. Prior to getting married to Cheryl in 1978, he served the Lord working in Munich, Germany with "Wort des Lebens" youth ministry. He was also station manager at WJTM radio in Frederick Md from 1992- 1997. He was the Tuesday morning host of Prayer line along with Pastor Richard Dyson until the station was sold in the mid 2000's. He attended Prairie Bible Institute, is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute and graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Washington Bible College in Pastoral Theology in 1991. In 1992, he and his wife had an experience with the Holy Spirit that would change the direction of both their life and ministry. Pastor Black has a passion for the presence of God and the destinies of each individual believer. His teaching and worship leading reflect those passions. He and Cheryl have taught young adults in numerous Iris Missions schools in both Africa and the U.S. Paul and Cheryl have one daughter, Ashley who is married and lives in Clear Spring MD. They have one 2 year old grandson and a second grandchild on the way.
Pastor Jim Rivera
City Limits Assembly of God
Pastor Jim Rivera is the founder and the Senior Pastor of City Limits Assembly of God in Allentown, Pennsylvania, a flourishing multicultural church since 1993. He is the Executive Director of the Timothy House programs which are dedicated to helping individuals with life controlling problems. Conjoined with a second phase program, M.V.P. (Mentor Vocation Program), which connects the men to companies to train them in vocational skills, he is also the founder of the Reach Home Community Services, an agency dedicated to community revitalization and economic empowerment. He is a Police and Fire Chaplin for the City of Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Pastor Jim's twenty-year road to community service began by overcoming a fourteen-year heroin addiction through the power of God. Immediately, he felt the need to help others caught in the same trap, this led him to become an addictions counselor and vocational administrator at an internationally known drug rehabilitation facility. Soon, this desire to help people became a call to ministry. The preparation for ministry came through Berean University. He also attended the Reading Area Community College and completed a ministerial internship in Berks County. He has completed courses for Chaplaincy service for Fire and Police.
Pastor Jim is a dynamic communicator. He is specially noted for his passion for urban community outreach/development and drug rehabilitation. He has been married to his wife, Deborah for 32 years and is the proud father of three children and the grandfather of three.

Dan with his wife Becky attends the Mt. Airy Campus of Calvary Assembly. Together they have ministered for over twenty years in the area of inner healing of broken identity, a ministry birthed out of Dan's own journey of healing from childhood abuse. Dan speaks and ministers through healing prayer at conferences and retreats. Dan and Becky are the directors of Living Well, Calvary Assembly Frederick Campus. Dan and Becky have two grown children and four grandchildren. They live in Mt Airy MD.
